Star Alliance Awards enable customers to use just one frequent
flyer award ticket for travel to more than 700 destinations worldwide
on any combination of Star Alliance airlines. No matter which
Star Alliance carrier you choose, the Award mileage is the same.
Just determine your full, roundtrip itinerary mileage, select
your class of service and then refer to the Star Alliance Award
Table below to find out how many miles you will need.
* After August 24, 2006, it is not possible to purchase the bonus tickets of Brazil's Varig Airlines. It is possible to transfer mileage from unused bonus tickets purchased prior to August 24, 2006.

Korea domestic award sectors on Asiana Airlines when issued

Award Tickets are valid for 1 year. No extensions
are permitted.

All segments of an Award itinerary must be
confirmed prior to ticketing and travel. Airport standby not
allowed.

Awards are for round trip travel only. One-way
and Upgrade Awards are not permitted. Origin departure and final
return destination country must be the same.

Award reservations must be booked and ticketed
by Asiana Airlines and are subject to capacity controls.

Award reservations may be changed prior to
ticketing, up to 3 days prior to departure. After ticketing,
only the departure date may be changed up to time of departure.

Award tickets cannot be changed, transferred,
refunded or redeposited after issuance with the exception of
date changes which are permitted at any time before the first
flight coupon is used.

No stopovers are allowed within the country
where you commenced your travel. A maximum of 4 free stopovers
are permitted on Award Travel between regions and only 1 stopover
per country. No more than 12 segments per award itinerary are
permitted, regardless of award level.

One Open Jaw segment is permitted per award
itinerary. Open Jaw is defined as entry via one airport with
a following departure from a different airport.

Seoul-Beijing (Open Jaw) Shanghai-Pusan
Seoul-Frankfurt (Open Jaw) London-Seoul

Mileage may only be redeposited if the entire
ticket is unused. Refunds or reissuance of lost tickets are
not permitted.

Children’s and Infant’s Award
tickets are the same mileage as an Adult Award

A maximum of 4 Japan domestic award sectors
on ANA are allowed. When issued as part of an international
award itinerary ticket, ANA domestic sectors are valid for 1
year from date of issue. Any ANA domestic award ticket issued
separately, shall have a maximum validity of 90 days and may
not be reserved more than 2 months in advance of the date of
departure.

Unaccompanied Minor (less than 12 years)
award travel may not be permitted. Rules vary by carrier.

Asiana’s 10% multiple award ticket
discount does not apply to Star Alliance awards.

An itinerary which includes a mix of classes
will be charged at the higher Award level.

Blackout periods may apply and will be determined
by each individual Star Alliance carrier.

All routes, schedules and program terms and
conditions for both Asiana and its partner airlines are subject
to change.

Award tickets may only be used on the services
of the operating carrier on which the ticket is issued.
