There is lots to see, eat and shop for in Hong Kong - and one repeat attraction is the cable car ride experience in Hong Kong. Once you've had this mesmerizing experience, you may fall in love with Honk Kong all the more. You may even feel more love for your family, friends or lover sharing the ride
Ocean Park's Beautiful Cable Car Tour
Ocean Park located in the Hong Kong Island is a theme park
with a large aquarium, marine park, zoo (currently home
to two pandas: Jia Jia & An An), and an amusement park.
The cable car view has the sea to the left and the mountains
to the right with beautiful scenery stretched out for three
kilometers. As I rode in the swinging cable car I can't remember
times I screamed with glee as I viewed the dazzling blue
sea and the thick & shiny green trees.
I visited the Ocean Park's cable car three times just to
appreciate the beautiful view for a few minutes.
Honestly the ocean park from an adult's eye can be a bit
childish. There are also people who say that the place is
not worth visiting with an entrance fee that cost HK$185
(Children HK$93). But, this place has its own unforgettable
stunning impression with the dizzying pleasure of riding
the roller coaster sitted on top of the cliff overlooking
the sea below is just riding the cable car up and down.

'Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car'
Ngong
Ping 360 Skyrail is a 5.7km long cable car system linking
Tung Chung and Ngong Ping, and is a new attraction which
opened on September 18, 2006. 25 minutes into the ride,
you will see the Chek Lap Kok International Airport, the
Big Buddha and the Po Lin Monastery.
When I visited last November there were not a lot of people that knew the When I visited last November there were not a lot of people that knew the place which gave me pleasure that I would visit a travel destination before anybody else. Early in the morning when I went to the Tung Chung Terminal, a 10 minute ride by taxi from the airport, to get on the cable car I remember that there were more locals than foreign tourists trying to ride the Ngong Ping Skyrail, which was soon to become a new attraction.
I arrived
at the Ngong Ping Village where you can see restaurants
including the Tea House, souvenir stores and walk to where
the Big Buddha is. The Big Buddha in the Po Lin Monastery
was built in 1971 and is the largest outdoor Buddha (sitting)
in the world and in has 100 stairs in front. This grand
Buddha sits on top of the mountain in a gracious manner
where you can spot the Buddha even from afar in the cable
car. During the cable car ride you will also have an opportunity
to see planes taking off and land at the airport.

* If you do not enjoy standing in long line try to reach the terminal at open time. You can buy the voucher beforehand at the subway stations in downtown but make sure to exchange them into tickets at the terminal. Fortunately, the line at the exchange counter is not long so you can tolerate the inconvenience.
As an experienced rider, one tip I have for tourists taking the cable car, is that you must try to look your best when looking out the window at the point of arrival where the cable car ride ends. That is if you want to keep a decent picture of yourself when the camera attached to the entrance of the terminal takes pictures of you. You will be left with a lacking feeling if you were seen busy gathering your bag.
If the cable care at the Ocean Park was a romantic woman then the Ngong Ping Skyrail is a modern and stylish cosmopolitan man. Let us comfortably appreciate the panoramic view of Hong Kong in the two cable cars.
